Drawing from the French, Scandinavian and African musical traditions, Jacques Mayoud (vocals, violin, sanza, harmonic flute, percussion), and Jean-Pierre Yvert (accordion, harmonic flute, sanza, Jew's harp) have elaborated a personal, "in-between" music style. With the Swede Christofer Bjuström (piano, transverse flute, harmonic flute), and Stephane Méjean (saxophone, French bagpipes), the cosmopolitan music of Nord-Sud open up to jazz, presenting us a creative folk swing, with a great variety of instruments, compositions and atmospheres.
Waltzes, gangar, polska, mazurkas, marches… and a waltz again!
