Train 221 ‘The Jazz Album

an unsual rendering of traditional Scottish music through the prism of jazz tinted with Afro-Cuban influences. Joanne McIver interprets 12 of her own compositions on bagpipes, smallpipes and tin whistles, with harpist Christophe Saunière and guests: David Gaillard, viola (Jean-philippe Viret 4tet), Pascal Pallisco, accordion (Vincent Segal, Toups Bebey), Jules Bikoko, double bass (David ElMalek, Bojan Z, Laurent Coq, Julien Loureau…) and Christophe Bras drums (Moustaki, Magik Malik…) .
